We've Gone International....almost!!! ;)

I'm not sure why but for some reason I imagined this trip like a Mary Kate and Ashley movie! Cute boys, tons of pictures, adventures around every coner....It hasn't exactly turned out that way, but hey, this is the real world.

So far, I have been up since 1am, Arizona time, been on a plane virtually all day, read half a book, got the Starbucks I was craving, and snuggled up with Fred (my penguin pillpw pet). I spent about 3 of the 8 hours studying the back of my eyelids, seeing as the amount of sleep I had endured over the past couple of days has been mediocore at best.

It has been a long day, but what the hell, I'm on a beautiful island with my family and I CAN NOT WAIT TO GET ON THE SHIP!!!

Is it weird that the one thing I'm super looking forward to on this vacation is wearing my purple Micheal Khors and dresses.

Plans for the week:
-Eat my body weight in desserts, seafood, and all the other good things that don't come from the catering at Estes
-Tan, till I look straight out of Mexico
-Work out every day
-Swim with Dolphins
-Buy presents for everyone and their mother's mother
-DRINK!!!!
-Take a million and one pictures!

I had an amazing week before I left and I hope that when I get back everything gets even better!

F.O.M.O

Fear OMissed Opportunities

It's been a long week full of fun and not sun!

Cookout at Moraine, Sundance, and Cactus Canyon...I have only slept a handful of hours this whole week and regretted not a single minute of it!

We wake up early and work late, but there are few opportunities in life that mirror these ones! I would rather regret the things that I've done than the things that I haven't. There was a lot of "I'm not going, no I'll go, I'm too tired, NO I'M GOING!" Oh yeah, though we are unadventurous and only ask few to dance, it was fantastic!!!!

Cactus was a complete spur of the moment decision that was amazingly amazing!!! I can't wait for the rest of the summer and all the other late nights that will follow.

I am headed to the Caribbean in a day. Ten days of no horses, saddles, pearl snaps, or boots! It's bikini season and I'm ready for it!!!

Edgar Allen Pony

I've said it before and I'll say it again...there is a once in a life time pony and I've found him.

EDGAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last summer I met the man of my dreams! Though he doesn't look like much and probably would be useless for anything other than trail rides, but I love him.

Earlier this week I was bombarded by Gina, "The box l's are coming, the box l's are coming!!!!" I could hardly contain myself as the trailer pulled in. Off the trailer comes Edgar, overwhelmed by happiness, I cried. Oh yeah people, full on tears in my cobbler, can't even talk, completely blubbering mess crying!

There have been few other times that I have been so happy!

Then I had to leave on my four hour, I pleaded to Zach and heard promises from Kansas, he left for Moraine.

Rumors of a cook out at Moraine are thrown around and I am in the car heading that way before you can say when!!!

I spent the whole time with my man! I forgot how much I loved him. He didn't care that I hopped on his back some ten times, did several around the worlds, and laid backwards and took a nap.

I want to take him home with me...I have big plans you just wait!

Run like the wind....Curly!

"Do you guys ever take the horses out and run them?" "UM NOPE!!! They can do that in their off time."

Amanda, Becca, and me!
If only! Second wrangler ride of the season last night and it was
F-A-N-T-A-S-T-I-C!!!!!!!

Becca and I explored the trails and discovered a dead elk and a trail behind the steak fry grounds. There was a few games of MARCO...POLO played and some shady radio calls!!!

"DEAD ELK" "DEAD HELP!!! WHAT KANSAS IS GONNA KILL US!!!" ha ha

I jumped on my chubby stead for the first time and he was so awesome. Slow but amazing! It was udder chaos as we all took off towards the photo booth! All we could do was move fast, hope to avoid trees, and eat the dust that was flying at our faces!

George joined us on the ride which was kind of great!

I had such an amazing time and I hope there are more rides to come!!! I know that was the most fun any of us have had since we've been here!!!! :)
Me and Curly!!!!

Shout out to Curly for being an awesome wrangler horse for my rides and for being as fast as he could during the wrangler ride!!! You beat Puppy and that's all that matters!!!!

Live Like Someone Left the Gate Open!!!

Happy Friday people!
A steady day of rides which makes everyone happy. I went on two one hours! One with people from Tucson, makes me miss home...only slightly! The other was a fantastic couple from Chicago! I saw so many elk, deer, and coyotes over the past few days and it's so fantastic!!!

I met some fantastic people on my two hour yesterday as well! We're Facebook official! Gina also got to come on my ride, we're quite the dynamic duo!

Happy Birthday to my first roomie, STEPH!!!!
She got thrown in the trough, but I didn't get to take a picture!!! :'(

Nicole cooked the most fantastic meal of all time!!!! Cheddar Bacon Ranch Chicken Pasta and Caramel Apple Cheesecake! I had seconds...for both!

I've been here for 22 days...it's gone by so fast and so slow all at the same time! I can't wait for the cruise, a day off, and a tan!

I have a DREAM....

I have a dream that one day...
we will be so busy these past few days will seem like a bad dream, that people will start tipping, and that we will one day all get along.

I have a dream that one day there will be no more "new girls"! We'll all just be wranglers. I hope for more male influence. I hope that my days off are long and eventful. I have a dream that these tense and irritating moments will nothing more than a distant memory!

Toad lookin' like a WHO!
I have a dream that this summer will mimic the last one in all the best ways! That the horses will stay sweet and the wranglers will never leave. I have a dream that I will know everything about all of the touristy things that make up Estes Park!

It's been a rough and slow couple of days! There have been several vent sessions, the occasional nap on the blankets, quite a few kitchen runs, and an excessive amount of carbs consumed in the past few days! I need a day off, and it's only been two days!

Becky is here and I am so happy, don't know what I would without her! Without Gina and Becky this would be a long summer! I love you both so much!

Picking up rocks!!!!
As amazing as this experience is and the fun we have, there have been a few VERY frustrating days filled with tension, take out, and ice cream!

When will summer actually come around?!?!?!

Well this whole week has felt like such a break....IT'S BEEN SO SLOW!!!!!

I have taken one ride a day, if that, this whole week! Come visit us people we are going a little stir crazy! There have been very few breakfast rides and late barn call two days in a row, which has been WONDERFUL! :)

I think everything is finally starting to calm down and we have all found our wrangler voices again.

Gina went on her first steak ride yesterday, riding Dark Horse with a smile plastered across her face the whole time. Life as office girl has been rough for her.

Kathleen, Gina, and I went on a date last night, just the three Moraine Amigos, to a Thai place. It was amazing food and I had such a great time! It's been awhile since it's been just us three.

Though the days have been shorter, the weather hasn't been the least bit forgiving. The wind speeds Thursday and Friday hit in the 60 MPH range! WHO WANTS TO RIDE IN THAT WEATHER, I DON'T KNOW! People are crazy!!! Today is was around 40 degrees all day and not fun at all to be in. I can't wait for the snow to melt and the sun will come out...tomorrow. ;)
